JOB TITLE: Marketing Assistant

REPORTS TO: Marketing Coordinator

OVERVIEW OF ROLE: Ward Transport & Logistics is seeking a creative, motivated, and detailed oriented individual to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience supporting marketing initiatives across multiple departments while helping promote our brand, services, and company culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, content creation, visual media, and collaboration in a fast-paced business environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in developing engaging content for social media platforms and company platforms.
• Create graphics, promotional materials, and digital material using design tools.
• Support campaign planning and execution for company events and customer engagement efforts.
• Capture photo and video content at various company events including day-to-day operations.
• Assist with video editing and short-form content creation for social media and marketing campaigns.
• Help develop storytelling content that highlights company culture, employees, customers, and community events.
• Support interdepartmental initiatives and responsibilities through effective collaboration and teamwork across all departments.
• Assist with analytics and data mining efforts.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar graphic design software. Experience with AI tools is a plus.
• Ability to capture professional quality photos and videos w/ basic editing skills.
• Ability to create social media graphics, promotional materials, and digital marketing materials.
• Experience with creating social media campaigns on various social platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct market research on industry trends, opportunities, and competitor analysis
