Job Title: Marketing Assistant/Coordinator I
Location: New York, NY
Pay Rate: $23.55/hour
Duration: 2 Months

Job Description

  • Support the Valentino Beauty marketing team with a focus on the fragrance category.
  • Collect and analyze market, competitor, and brand performance data using Circana, Power BI, and L'Oréal Cube.
  • Prepare business reports, presentations, and marketing materials for internal and global meetings.
  • Coordinate product shipments for retailers, sample programs, photoshoots, media features, and meetings using Salesforce SHOP.
  • Manage product inventory and support third-party storage organization.
  • Provide marketing inputs for SKU code creation and new product launches.
  • Track purchase orders and assist with PO reconciliation and cost actualization.
  • Coordinate product seeding programs with agency partners for ratings and reviews.
  • Process retailer sample requests, including product specifications and shipments.
  • Prepare product kits and materials for retailer meetings and in-store presentations.
  • Conduct competitive store visits and support merchandising walkthroughs.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Required Skills

  • Experience supporting brand or product marketing initiatives.
  • Data analysis using Circana, Power BI, and L'Oréal Cube.
  • Salesforce SHOP for product ordering and sample management.
  • SKU code creation and product launch support.
  • Purchase order (PO) tracking and coordination.
  • Product inventory management and sample logistics.
  • Retail marketing and competitive market analysis.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Skills

  • 1–2 years of marketing experience.
  • Beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics industry experience.
  • Experience coordinating retailer sample programs and product seeding.
  • Familiarity with agency collaboration for product launch campaigns.
  • Experience supporting fragrance or luxury beauty brand marketing.
