Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the firm's Marketing Department across five offices. This role provides administrative, event, digital marketing, and research support to ensure seamless execution of marketing and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the marketing team
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate internal communications
  • Organize and maintain marketing files, documents, and records
  • Process invoices and assist with general administrative duties

Database & Data Management

  • Maintain marketing databases including client lists, contact information, and mailing lists
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Support marketing campaigns through accurate data management

Events & Programs

  • Support planning and execution of firm events, seminars, webinars, and conferences
  • Coordinate event logistics (venue selection, vendors, RSVP tracking, materials preparation)
  • Assist with special event-related projects as needed

Digital Marketing

  • Assist with social media management (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Support email marketing initiatives and website updates
  • Monitor digital campaign performance and compile reporting
  • Post blog entries in a timely manner

Research & Reporting

  • Conduct industry, competitor, and client demographic research
  • Track charitable requests
  • Compile findings into reports and presentations
  • Serve as liaison between marketing and internal departments/external vendors

Marketing Collateral

  • Manage inventory ordering and tracking of brochures, business cards, and marketing materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Communications, English, or related field preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency across major social media platforms
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment is a plus
