Affordable Home Furnishings is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
Marketing Assistant to help support our growing marketing department.
We are a regional rent-to-own furniture, appliance, and electronics company with 35
locations across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. Our marketing department handles
everything from social media and digital advertising to promotions, vendor coordination,
store support, and campaign organization across all markets.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, communication, project
coordination, and helping keep fast-moving departments running smoothly. The
Marketing Assistant will serve as a key support role for the marketing team by helping
manage day-to-day operational tasks, maintaining organization across platforms and
systems, and ensuring projects stay on track.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in
marketing operations and grow within a fast-paced company environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage shared marketing inboxes and communications
Assist with organizing marketing projects, promotions, and campaigns
Help maintain organization across marketing systems and files
Create, update, and remove CRM user accounts as needed
Audit CRM access and ensure active users are current employees
Monitor store social media pages for posting compliance and consistency
Assist with scheduling and coordinating marketing tasks and deadlines
Organize digital assets, graphics, and campaign materials
Help maintain spreadsheets, reports, and internal tracking systems
Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing department
Assist with additional marketing-related projects as assigned
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace preferred
Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite, or CRM platforms is a plus
Marketing, business, communications, or related degree preferred
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
