The Marketing Assistant assists in the planning, execution and optimization of our marketing efforts. This person is part of a team responsible for global marketing within Adam Equipment. They are responsible for supporting the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing
campaigns through the creation of content like graphics, blog posts or social
media posts and assisting in executing marketing events.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
· Assists in the formulation of strategies
to build a lasting connection with dealers and end users
· Provide support to divisional marketing
managers
· Plans, executes and monitors all social
media activity, including posts, short videos and
interaction with social media followers
· Plans and writes blog posts for Adam
website, as well as associated websites, while matching the established Adam
“voice”
· Provide creative ideas for content such
as blog posts, infographics and case studies, and
collaborate with the graphic design team on deliverables
· Plans and manages registration, logistics and preparing marketing collateral for webinars,
global trade shows, conferences and events by
identifying, coordinating and assembling
requirements, preparing schedules, coordinating associated emails, and entering
contacts from event lead generation into the CRM.
· Prepare email newsletters (internal and
external), promotional emails and organize their distribution through various
channels
· Help maintain marketing email lists for
communicating with dealers and end users
· Continually seek new sources of
prospective end user contact data and provide recommendations to marketing
leadership
· Update website with content such as
pictures, blog posts, product write ups.
· Share responsibility for updating product
database (PIM) with product content and ensuring accuracy of content
· Maintain organization of Marketing SharePoint
· Build knowledge and education regularly
through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices and local
marketing tactics with team members
· Maintain inventory of sales support
materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation
of new materials when necessary
· Assist in marketing presentations to
internal sales teams
· Other duties that may be assigned within the marketing team

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and
interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical
procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents,
logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply
mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination
of test reliability and validity, analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical
instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job
successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and related Marketing software experience.
