As a Marketing Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to:

What You'll Do
Social Media Support
- Assist in creating, planning, and scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices and share ideas for new content and engagement opportunities
- Capture photo and video content at branch locations, community events, and marketing activities
Community Engagement
- Assist with sponsorships and community events, including booth opportunities, golf tournaments, parades, Parade of Homes events, and other activities that support SBSU's community involvement goals
- Represent SBSU professionally at community events and networking opportunities
- Take minutes during monthly Washington County Community Relations Committee meetings
Marketing Team Support
- Assist the Marketing team with executing strategies that support the bank's purpose, cause, and reputation
- Provide support for special marketing projects, campaigns, and internal communication needs
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital communications
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Basic video editing skills for short-form content
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
- Experience creating content for a business, organization, school club, personal brand, or other group
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools
- Photography, videography, or video editing experience
