Position Overview
We're hiring a motivated, creative, and reliable college student to support our Marketing Coordinator during the summer. You'll help create content, manage social media, capture photo/video on job sites, and keep our website and digital signage looking fresh. This is a hands-on role with portfolio-worthy work and real-world marketing experience.
A marketing major is not required. Training and guidance will be provided. We're looking for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media
- Help build and maintain a social media content calendar
- Create and schedule posts for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Write captions and short form copy aligned to our brand voice
- Support efforts to grow and engage our LinkedIn audience
Photography & Visual Content
- Capture photos of job sites, crews, and completed landscaping projects
- Organize, label, and upload photos for use across marketing channels
- Help ensure visual assets are current, consistent, and on brand
Website Updates
- Refresh website photos and project galleries
- Assist with basic content updates (training provided)
- Flag outdated pages/visuals and suggest improvements
Digital Signage (OptiSigns)
- Create and schedule content for OptiSigns digital displays
- Maintain a rotating signage calendar (branding, promotions, safety, seasonal messages)
- Assist with updating signage content on-site as needed
General Marketing Support
- Support the Marketing Coordinator with ongoing projects and deadlines
- Track tasks and deliverables to keep projects moving
- Contribute ideas for seasonal promotions and campaigns
