Marketing Automation & Engagement Specialist

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite Per Week)
Compensation: $72,000 Base Salary + 10% Annual Performance Bonus

Our client, a well-established industry leader based in Irving, TX, is seeking a Marketing Automation & Engagement Specialist to support and execute high-impact digital marketing initiatives. This is an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented, creative marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing technology, email marketing, lifecycle campaigns, and content execution.

In this role, you'll own the day-to-day execution of email and customer engagement programs, helping drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through targeted campaigns, automated journeys, and compelling content.

What You'll Do

  • Build, deploy, and optimize email marketing campaigns, nurture programs, and customer engagement initiatives.

  • Manage ongoing email communications, including recurring weekly campaigns and monthly promotional sends.

  • Create, test, and maintain email templates while ensuring quality assurance, deliverability, and audience accuracy.

  • Develop and manage audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and automated customer journeys.

  • Write, edit, and proofread marketing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.

  • Support lifecycle marketing efforts through automated nurture sequences and engagement programs.

  • Optimize and update website and landing page content to align with campaign objectives.

  • Assist with improving website content for user engagement, conversion, and overall customer experience.

  • Support SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) initiatives to enhance online visibility.

  • Partner closely with the Marketing Analyst and broader marketing team to ensure efficient and accurate campaign execution.

  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, or marketing operations.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar tools.

  • Experience building email campaigns, audience segments, and automated workflows.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website content management.

  • Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of email performance metrics, deliverability, and engagement optimization.

  • Experience supporting customer lifecycle or retention marketing initiatives.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
