Introduction

This role focuses on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market strategies, and product management activities. The candidate will ensure merchandised assortments allow appropriate segmentation, deliver differentiation in the marketplace, and drive incremental growth. The role involves finalizing all category assortment plans and resolving issues related to flow, pricing, and distribution decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a merchandising role.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in ambiguity.
• Strong marketplace awareness.
• Expertise in Excel.
• Team player mindset.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Assort Visual (AV) experience.
• Prior client/retail experience.
• In-store retail experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ensure that the assortment category vision is driven to the retail floor and results in profitable, consumer-right assortments.
• Optimize the planning and placement of products in the appropriate format.
• Support soccer merchandising at the channel level, working closely with product, merch, and sales teams to determine the best product for specific accounts.
• Assist with product allocation.
• Comfortable with public speaking, mostly to internal audiences.

• On-site role at WHQ with a 4/1 hybrid schedule.
• Backfill for leave coverage; contract will run approximately 6 months from start.
