This position is accountable for leading the marketing communication team for the General Industrial division in North America, creating and executing strategic communication plans in support of identified segments, products and regions. The work of this role will ultimately drive profitable growth, market share, consumer awareness and brand equity. In addition, this position is responsible for communicating our competitive product & segment strategy.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a College Degree or equivalent
- Must have five (5) years of B2B segment marketing or communications experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in a business or marketing field
- Have five (5) years of management in Industrial coatings segment marketing or management
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate and strategize with segment leadership to create and execute marketing communication plans in support of growth and business objectives
- Partner with Product Leadership to enhance and elevate product marketing through traditional and digital channels
- Develop external communications by working with the Product Managers, Marketing Directors, Web team, and Agency partners to develop communications strategies, determine tactics, establish content, define metrics for success, evaluate results and provide recommendations for the future. Communications vehicles include:
- Marketing Automation -campaigns targeted to customers, active prospects, and potential leads
- PR initiatives, Websites, Social Media, and Printed Collateral
- Develop digital marketing strategies to support the identification, nurturing, and activation of sales leads- accelerating progress through the sales funnel
- Establish and direct strategies for social media engagement- including content development, paid campaigns, and monitoring key metrics
- Partner with UX Team and segment leadership to develop customer journey maps for identified customer groups
- Lead activities supporting annual National Sales Meeting- including meeting structure, content development and in person & virtual session logistics
- Responsible for the development and implementation of all industry trade shows through partnership with segment leadership
- Develop brand strategies for key product lines & manage brand registration/renewal process for active product lines
- Lead NA communications team is supporting business needs as identified in communications planning process
- Supervision and development of 3 Marketing Specialists, to include: cross training skills, developing back-up options for covering responsibilities as needed, prioritization of responsibilities, continuous process improvements in all aspects of Marketing Communications
