Job Details

Job Duties
  • Develop, write, and distribute compelling content across email campaigns, websites, social media, print materials, and digital communications.
  • Manage organizational email marketing initiatives, including newsletters, fundraising campaigns, audience segmentation, scheduling, and performance reporting.
  • Maintain website content, ensuring information is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards while coordinating larger updates with external vendors as needed.
  • Create and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and highlight organizational initiatives.
  • Monitor analytics across email, website, and social channels to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate public relations activities by supporting media outreach, drafting press materials, tracking earned media coverage, and collaborating with external communications partners.
  • Produce and oversee marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, signage, presentations, annual reports, and fundraising materials while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Partner closely with fundraising and leadership teams to develop donor communications, stewardship materials, appeals, and campaign messaging.
  • Support marketing efforts for community programs and special events through promotional materials, digital campaigns, photography, and on site content creation.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, messaging, and quality standards are consistently met.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or digital content management, preferably within a nonprofit or mission driven organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing email marketing campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Experience creating print and digital marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design software.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems such as WordPress and email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend events and travel locally as needed.
  • Certified or ability to become certified in CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required background screenings and employment clearances, including a valid California driver's license, physical, TB test, and drug test.
