Job Title: Marketing Communications Specialist I Location: Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA (100% Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract Pay range:$30.00-$34.37 per hour on W2
Responsibilities: Team Operating Rhythm & Governance
Establish and run the team-level operating cadence (weekly / monthly, QBRs, and mission reviews)
Design and manage meeting structures, agendas, and decision frameworks
Lead planning for team events, offsites, and F2F sessions
Ensure clear governance across all initiatives, including roles, decision rights, and escalation paths
Outcome: A consistent, predictable, and high-functioning team rhythm
Mission Intake, Prioritization, and Planning
Oversee the central intake process for marketing requests and initiatives within the Marketing Business Partner team
Facilitate prioritization in partnership with Marketing Business Partner Leader and Strategic Marketers
Ensure all work aligns to defined missions and business priorities
Identify gaps, overlaps, and constraints across missions
Partner with functional teams to optimize resource deployment
Maintain a single, integrated view of all team commitments
Outcome: Work is focused on the highest-value priorities, with clear trade-offs and alignment
Execution Tracking & Delivery Management
Track progress across all active missions and initiatives
Ensure milestones, dependencies, and risks are identified and managed
Drive accountability across cross-functional teams
Outcome: Work moves forward on time, with clear ownership and transparency
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Consolidate input from Program Managers and functional teams into cohesive, team-level reporting
Provide leadership visibility into progress, performance, and impact
Support QBRs and executive updates with clear insights
Outcome: Leadership has a clear, real-time view of team performance
Cross-Team Integration
Ensure alignment across strategy, program management, and functional execution teams
Connect work across missions to avoid duplication and fragmentation
Drive a “one team” mindset, removing silos and handoffs
Reinforce standard ways of working across Marketing Business Partner teams
Outcome: The team operates as a unified system, not a collection of functions
Must haves:
4–7+ years of experience in marketing operations, project/program management, or business operations
Proven ability to work across cross-functional, matrixed teams
Experience building or improving operating models, processes, or governance structures
Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking
Bachelor’s degree required
