The Marketing & Communications Specialist will execute VIPS's digital, print, and storytelling efforts across all platforms. This position creates and manages visual content, oversees social media channels, and maintains the organization's website and digital assets. It is responsible for producing campaign materials, newsletters, email communications, and key publications such as the Impact Report, while ensuring consistent branding and messaging across the organization.Primary ResponsibilitiesMarketingDesign and produce basic digital and visual content, including graphics, short‑form video, and photography, to support campaigns, events, and organizational storytelling for all departments.Manage VIPS's social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) via Loomly by developing, scheduling, and publishing content, while monitoring engagement, responding to audiences, and tracking performance metrics.Maintain and organize a centralized digital asset library of photos, videos, graphics, and branded materials for organizational use.Website AdministrationManage and maintain the VIPS website using Neon Websites CMS, a user‑friendly website builder similar to Google Sites, and oversee content updates on the organization's intranet hosted in Google Sites.Examples of web administration tasks include:Create new webpages and landing pages.Publish blog posts and news stories.Update, reorganize, and remove website content.Embed forms, videos, calendars, maps, donation forms, registration forms, etc.Configure and maintain integrations within the CMS (Neon forms, GiveButter, YouTube, Mailchimp signup forms, social feeds, etc.).Serve as the primary liaison with Neon One support.CommunicationsCoordinate the design and production of the Impact Report, Holiday Card annual appeal, Day of Giving social media campaign, and all fundraising event materials.Develop and execute email campaigns and newsletters in Mailchimp, including formatting, design, and distribution of provided content such as the Desk of Diane, VISability, and all event communications.Coordinate production of printed materials with external vendors as needed.Write and publish spotlight stories featuring donors, families, and alumni, and distribute content across social media, newsletters, annual reports, and print materials.Other duties as assigned.Job Skills & RequirementsProficient in:Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Mailchimp;Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube;Photography and basic video creation;Loomly or other social media management/monitoring tools;Basic website publishing (especially via WordPress or Neon Website) skills a plus;Exceptional multitasking capabilities, prioritizing projects when needed.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred.3-5 years of experience working in a similar or related position, non‑profit experience preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
