Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Content Specialist to support our design and content teams in producing high-quality visual and digital assets. This hybrid role involves collecting, organizing, and preparing content for various channels, while ensuring consistency with brand standards and technical specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and verify incoming content (text, images, video, metadata) from internal teams or external sources as well as gather content from various job site locations.
  • Create engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, proposals, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with marketing team, leadership, and subject matter experts to gather information and develop compelling stories.
  • Prepare and format content for use in print, web, and digital channels.
  • Edit, resize, and optimize images and graphics for various platforms.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all assets in terms of branding, file naming, and formatting.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on final deliverables.
  • Ensure all content follows company brand standards, messaging, and voice.
  • Maintain digital asset libraries and file management systems.
  • This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
  • All other tasks as assigned.

Education/Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a content coordination role.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Digital marketing platforms such as Constant Contact and Event Brite a plus.
  • Photography and videography experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational and file management skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to continuously sit, stand or walk.
  • Ability to bend, squat, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to navigate uneven terrain typical of construction work sites.
  • Ability to travel long distances by vehicle or commercial airline.

Work environment:

  • Office, job site, job trailer, or field office.
