Overview:

The Marketing Content Specialist plays a key role in shaping the RAMPQuest brand.

  • This position produces and optimizes content that supports our mission to simplify cybersecurity compliance and risk management — whether it lives on our website, in a campaign, or in sales and event materials.
  • You’ll ensure messaging is clear, credible, and consistent across blogs, web pages, sales collateral, proposals, and event assets.
  • Working closely with the marketing team and subject matter experts, you’ll translate complex topics into engaging content that builds trust and supports business growth.
Responsibilities:

Marketing Content Specialist Responsibilities include:

  • Write, edit, and optimize content across digital and print formats, including blogs, web pages, emails, whitepapers, one-pages, brochures, sales collateral, proposals, and RFP response materials.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing Manager to develop a content calendar, identifying trending topics and opportunities to strengthen brand positioning.
  • Identify opportunities to transform blog content into other formats, such as infographics, videos, or whitepapers, to maximize reach and audience engagement.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to generate content ideas, streamline research, and create first drafts, ensuring human oversight for tone, style, and relevance.
  • Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, thoroughly proofed, error-free copy.
  • Research and collaborate with subject matter experts to create content that resonates with our prospective and current clients.
  • Conduct keyword research, implement SEO best practices, and optimize blog posts to improve organic traffic and search engine rankings.
  • Track, measure, and report results, including evaluating results of communication campaigns and marketing activities for the cyber security business and drive improvements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.
  • Support proposal development by writing, editing, and formatting RFP, RFI, and RFQ content in collaboration with technical subject matter experts.
  • Maintain proposal content libraries and coordinate inputs, reviews, and timelines to ensure accurate, on-brand submissions are delivered on time.
Qualifications:

Marketing Content Specialist Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a strategic communications role.
  • Familiarity with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered writing tools (e.g., GPT-3/4, Jasper, Copy.ai) and experience utilizing AI in content workflows.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise content.
  • Collaborative mindset with proven ability to drive and own outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A portfolio of work available for review.

Physical Requirements / ADA:

  • Occasional – Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have advance notice; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
  • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
  • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
