We are seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven Full-Time Marketing Consultant to support our growing practice across five locations on two Hawaiian islands. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on planning, organization, relationship-building, and execution. You will serve as a key liaison between our surgeons, referral partners, and local communities by developing strategic marketing initiatives, coordinating outreach efforts, and ensuring every project is executed with excellence. This role goes far beyond event coordination. The ideal candidate will proactively identify referral development opportunities, create and manage annual marketing and outreach plans, maintain a comprehensive calendar of events and community initiatives, and partner closely with surgeons to support practice growth across our five locations. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to think several steps ahead. You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating logistics across locations, building strong professional relationships, and turning strategic ideas into measurable results. Responsibilities - Support the marketing vision by creating and executing initiatives that build brand awareness, showcase clinical expertise, promote continuing education offerings, and strengthen referral partnerships.
- Partner closely with assigned surgeons to develop and execute individualized marketing plans that support practice growth within their communities.
- Develop and maintain annual marketing and referral outreach calendars, ensuring activities, office visits, events, and campaigns are strategically planned and executed.
- Build and nurture referral relationships by analyzing referral trends, conducting office visits, coordinating continuing education opportunities, and identifying meaningful engagement opportunities.
- Independently plan and coordinate marketing and community events, including logistics, registration management, vendor coordination, travel arrangements, and marketing collateral.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuing education programs, sponsorships, community involvement, networking events, and referral development activities throughout the year.
- Create, proofread, and edit content for a variety of marketing channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Assist with the development and management of social media and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Track outreach activities, event performance, and referral engagement, providing recommendations to improve future marketing efforts.
- Continuously develop knowledge of oral and maxillofacial surgery to strengthen referral relationships and marketing effectiveness.
- Maintain detailed records of referral interactions, event participation, and marketing activities.
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coordination, and support to a part-time marketing colleague, helping ensure marketing initiatives, referral outreach activities, and events are executed effectively and on schedule.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, referral partners, vendors, and fellow marketing coordinators while managing multiple projects independently.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1–3 years of marketing experience required
- Experience in the dental or oral surgery field preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Excel, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, calendars, and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, proofreading, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of social, digital, and email marketing best practices
- Proven ability to create and execute strategic marketing plans with minimal supervision
- Strong event planning experience, including coordinating multiple events and initiatives across different locations
- Ability to build relationships and effectively adapt to differing personalities and leadership styles
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively drive projects forward
- High level of creativity and attention to detail
- Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events
- Comfortable traveling between islands, including regular travel to Hilo and occasional overnight stays as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule - Full-time position
