If this is what you're all about, consider joining our Team.Ascent Hospitality is looking for a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator.The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for promoting on‑brand messaging through traditional, digital, and social media channels with the goal of driving revenue, increasing market share, and supporting overall hotel performance. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management (SMR), Operations, and Regional Marketing teams to ensure all marketing efforts are fully integrated and aligned with hotel and brand objectives.BenefitsCompetitive Pay!Benefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and other supplemental options!401k with employer MATCH!Paid PTO!Uniforms Provided for most positions!Team Member Hotel Discount Program!Essential FunctionsMarketing & Digital StrategyDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, plans, and budgets aligned with hotel business priorities, in partnership with the General ManagerActively participate in demand generation and SMR strategy developmentSupport topline revenue growth, RevPAR, and share‑of‑wallet objectives through targeted marketing initiativesPartner with Revenue Management to develop and execute promotional strategiesReconcile marketing plans monthly with accruals and forecasts in collaboration with the Director of FinanceManage digital strategy across Marriott.com, third‑party channels, paid media, and local partner platformsSupport group lead generation initiativesBrand & Content ManagementServe as brand guardian to ensure all marketing reflects brand voice, positioning, and standardsManage content across Marriott.com (EPIC, eFast, MDS Client Community), OTAs, third‑party, and group sitesSet overarching messaging strategy aligned with hotel positioningManage photography sourcing, distribution, and gallery updatesDevelop landing pages, Discovery Pages, and enhanced content as applicableOversee guest communications, including confirmation and pre‑arrival messagingPartnerships, PR & ActivationIdentify and activate incremental marketing opportunities through partnerships, CVBs, and third‑party platformsCultivate strong relationships with Marriott Digital Services (MDS), regional marketing teams, and external partnersManage PR agency relationships and/or internal PR messagingExecute PR events, promotions, and property‑level programming in collaboration with Hotel Operations and F&B leadershipFood & Beverage & Ancillary MarketingShowcase Food & Beverage promotions to both hotel guests and local patronsDefine in‑house F&B programming in partnership with the Director of Food & Beverage and manage executionManage outlet marketing opportunities on third‑party and local partner platformsSocial MediaDevelop and implement organic and paid social media strategiesManage paid social media budgets and performanceReview and guide social media content calendars, highlighting local and property eventsReporting & AdministrationMeasure, analyze, and communicate campaign performance and digital results using relevant reporting toolsPresent findings and recommendations to SMR leadership as requestedManage internal and external partners to ensure timely execution of deliverablesCollect, review, and submit invoices related to property marketing effortsLead and direct asset development including hotel collateral, photoshoots, and content productionPerform other reasonable duties as requested by leadershipSpecific Job Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong understanding of hospitality marketing, digital media, and demand generationAbility to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across multiple channelsExperience managing digital platforms, paid media, and third‑party distribution channelsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and adjust strategyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong relationship‑building and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholdersWorking knowledge of Marriott marketing systems and digital tools preferredPhysical DemandsAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsAbility to use vision, hands, and arms for computer‑based and administrative tasksAbility to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds occasionallyAbility to operate effectively in mentally demanding and deadline‑driven environmentsQualification StandardsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred1–3 years of experience in marketing, digital, communications, or a related fieldHospitality or digital marketing experience preferred but not requiredEEO Employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
