We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator for our engineering services firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality proposals and marketing content.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire proposal process, including coordinating with technical staff, writers, editors, and graphic designers to ensure the timely completion of high-quality proposals to potential clients.
Research and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other client documents to determine the scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Collaborate with technical staff to develop and write proposal content that clearly articulates our capabilities and value proposition.
Develop proposal outlines, schedules, and compliance matrices to ensure that all proposal requirements are met.
Review and edit proposal content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency with company messaging and branding.
Organize and manage proposal files, including version control, document formatting, and final production.
Develop and maintain a library of marketing and proposal content, including boilerplate text, graphics, technical data, resumes, project pages, brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials.
Maintain and monitor potential sources of opportunities/RFPs, using automated web-based search tools, to assure a steady stream of opportunities/RFPs to evaluate.
Use AI to help develop proposal documentation, and tailor for specific proposal requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in proposal coordination in a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, as well as AI tools such as Chatgpt.
Understanding engineering concepts and terminology is preferred.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Ability to establish relationships with potential clients and teaming partners.
