Senior Marketing CoordinatorLocation: Detroit, Michigan (supports Southeast Michigan)Own the pursuit. Tell the story. Southeast Michigan is one of our biggest growth opportunities, and we're looking for someone who can lead the marketing side of that work.This isn't a production-only role. You'll run pursuits from the Go/No-Go decision to the final interview. You'll push project teams to sharpen their message, and you'll help shape how Clark shows up in front of owners. You'll also do a bit of everything our team does, including prebond campaigns, events, social media, and website work. You'll just do it with more ownership and more judgment.This role is based out of our Detroit Office and supports the marketing efforts across Southeast Michigan. Ideal candidates may live in or near Detroit, Dearborn, Ann Arbor, Troy, Novi, Ferndale, or other surrounding areas.What you'll doLead proposals, qualifications, and prebond campaigns start to finish. That means setting the schedule, running kickoffs, and holding project executives and estimators to deadlines.Shape the story of each pursuit. Find the owner's real problem, pick the proof that addresses it, and write content that sounds like our people at their best.Prepare teams for interviews, from strategy and slides to coaching and rehearsals.Turn complex project data into clear graphics, reports, and presentations.Own our boilerplate library and CRM content and keep it accurate and current.Create social media and website content that shows what our Southeast Michigan teams are building.Plan client and employee events, including groundbreakings, dedications, the annual meeting, and the holiday party.Coordinate trade shows, promotional materials, and mailings.Help coordinators and interns grow by sharing what you know and reviewing their work.Handle confidential pursuit and company information with discretion.What you bringA bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.Four or more years of marketing experience, including real proposal or pursuit work.Advanced skills in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, plus Microsoft Office.Experience managing content in a CRM.Strong writing and editing. You can take a messy draft from a project team and make it clear, specific, and persuasive without losing what they meant.Comfort pushing back on a senior leader when the story isn't working.An eye for what our competitors are doing and how evaluators will actually score the result.Organization and calm if deadlines stack up.Nice to haveExperience in construction, engineering, architecture, or professional services.Interview coaching or presentation strategy experience.Social media and website content experience.Who will do well hereStorytellers who also sweat the details.
