Job Description

The Opportunity

At AWC, our brand is more than a logo. It is how customers, technology partners, prospective employees, and employee-owners experience who we are-from LinkedIn and our website to customer events, recruiting campaigns, training programs, and success stories.

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can turn ideas into action and keep the details moving.

This role owns much of the day-to-day execution behind AWC's marketing presence, including social media content, event and training campaigns, CRM data and marketing automation, customer success stories, and performance reporting. You'll work closely with sales and technical subject-matter experts, Technology Partners, HR, event organizers, and Graphic Design to deliver high-quality work that is accurate, timely, and consistent with the AWC brand.

Success in this role requires someone who is organized enough to manage the details, curious enough to understand technical subject matter, and confident enough to work with stakeholders across the organization.

At AWC, trust is built through both intent and competence. We value straight talk, ownership, mutual respect, and a willingness to learn and improve. We expect our team members to follow through on commitments, communicate when something is off track, and continuously look for ways to make the work better.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this position is a Hybrid working arrangement, with candidates located in Houston, TX preferred. As-needed office visits may be required.

How youll make an impact:

Build AWCs social and brand presence

  • Plan, write, coordinate, and publish LinkedIn content supporting AWC, key partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Balance technology partner objectives with what is genuinely useful and relevant to AWCs audience, while supporting AWCs sales and business goals
  • Work with subject-matter experts to translate technical information, industry developments, and business priorities into relevant, engaging content
  • Coordinate stakeholder approvals and creative requests with Graphic Design to keep content moving on schedule
  • Develop employee and organizational recognition content across AWC's family of brands, including employee spotlights, work anniversaries, leadership recognition, office openings and moves, holidays, recruiting campaigns, and company milestones
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Google Business Profile listings across AWC locations
  • Maintain data quality and support marketing automation within HubSpot CRM
  • Partner with sales and technical teams to turn customer wins into compelling case studies, success stories, and proof points that support future business development

Execute training and event marketing

  • Build and manage CRM-based marketing campaigns for customer training programs and events, from initial promotion and registration through post-event follow-up
  • Monitor registration activity and recommend additional promotion when participation is below expectations
  • Track registrations and attendance and provide timely reporting to event organizers and stakeholders
  • Coordinate sponsor invoicing, materials procurement, vendor needs, and volunteer teams for AWC's flagship annual customer event
  • Help ensure customers and partners experience organized, professional, and well-executed events that reflect the AWC brand

Measure and Improve Marketing Performance

  • Prepare quarterly marketing performance dashboards for leadership and partner reviews using CRM, analytics, spreadsheet, and presentation tools
  • Maintain year-to-date reporting on key marketing activities and results
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance to identify trends, opportunities, and potential data-quality issues
  • Surface insights and reporting concerns to the Marketing Director ahead of leadership reviews
  • Help improve the processes, tools, and reporting used to execute and measure marketing activities

Skills youll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing coordination, marketing operations, communications, event marketing, or a related role
  • Experience managing social media content, preferably LinkedIn, in an organizational or B2B environment
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Analytics or comparable platforms
  • Experience with Eventbrite or another event registration platform
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to adjust messaging for different audiences
  • Strong research instincts and the ability to find a fresh, specific angle within technical documentation, industry news, customer stories, or conversations with subject-matter experts
  • Comfort working with technical and business stakeholders and asking the right questions to understand unfamiliar subject matter
  • Practical fluency with AI-enabled writing and productivity tools-using them to accelerate research and execution while applying sound judgment to the final product
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships with sales, technical, HR, and leadership teams
  • An ownership mindset: you follow through, communicate early when something is at risk, and take responsibility for getting the work across the finish line

What will set you apart:

  • Experience with Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • HubSpot or Google Analytics certification
  • Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, engineering, distribution, or another technical B2B environment
  • Experience developing customer case studies or sales-enablement content
  • Experience coordinating vendors, sponsors, and volunteers for live events
  • Experience building dashboards or translating marketing data into actionable recommendations

The Rewards:

  • Base compensation in the $75,000 to $90,000 range, calibrated to experience
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • 401(K) Match
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Package
  • Employer Paid Life Insurance
  • Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay
  • Career Development Opportunities
