Job Title: Associate, Toys (Marketing Coordinator II / DCP US - Toys)
Location: Burbank, CA 91505 (Hybrid: 3 days onsite/week, flexible schedule)
Pay rate: Max $30.00 - $31.25/hr (Overtime not typical)
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (40.0 hours/week; 3-month contract assignment starting 10/05/2026 through 01/08/2027; extension/conversion likely)
Overview
The Associate, Toys supports the Senior Manager overseeing Games, Puzzles, Vehicles, STEM, and Collectibles within the Warner Bros. Discovery Consumer Products (DCP) US Toys team. Responsible for driving licensing revenue across iconic WBD portfolio brands, this role manages daily licensee relationships, coordinates product launches, tracks quarterly forecasts/budgets, assists with contract execution, and liaises cross-functionally with Finance, Product Development, Franchise Management, and Retail Business Development.
Job Specifications
* Support daily category operations and licensing revenue initiatives across Games, Puzzles, STEM/STEAM, Vinyl, and Vehicles
* Maintain licensee relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and day-to-day operational support
* Assist the Senior Manager with quarterly financial forecasting, annual budget preparation, and sub-category revenue plan tracking
* Facilitate contract management from initiation through internal approvals and execution to prevent product launch delays
* Ensure timely execution of licensee marketing programs, retail activations, franchise initiatives, and social media campaigns
* Liaise cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Finance, Product Development, Franchise Management, Retail Business Development, and regional teams) to drive strategic alignment
* Utilize software tools including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Airtable, and Tableau for reporting and workflow management
* Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Business or a related field required
* 3+ years of Category/Licensee Management experience required (working knowledge of the licensing and retail landscape for Toys and Collectibles preferred; open to former WBD interns)
* Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple project streams in a fast-paced environment required
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with external partners required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; hands-on experience with Airtable, Tableau, and pitch presentation creation preferred
