Marketing & Outreach Coordinator III (Temporary)
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Schedule: 30–35 hours per week
Assignment Length: Approximately 3 Months (July 20, 2026 – October 18, 2026)
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, organized, and collaborative Marketing & Outreach Coordinator III to support marketing, communications, outreach, and recruitment initiatives for a higher education organization. This temporary opportunity is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys coordinating projects, creating engaging content, supporting events, and developing communication strategies that increase student engagement and community awareness.

The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and experience with graphic design, digital marketing, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and participation in educational programs and services.
  • Research marketing trends and recommend innovative strategies to improve the user experience across digital and print communication platforms.
  • Coordinate marketing projects, outreach initiatives, recruitment campaigns, and special events from planning through execution.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote educational programs and increase student participation.
  • Develop and coordinate communication plans utilizing email marketing, social media, website content, and other digital communication channels.
  • Create marketing materials including flyers, brochures, presentations, newsletters, digital graphics, and promotional pieces while ensuring brand consistency.
  • Design publications, page layouts, graphics, and visual content for print, web, and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate electronic messaging and digital signage across campus communication platforms.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing collateral, promotional items, and publication materials.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment, outreach, admissions, and campus events.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners to support enrollment and outreach initiatives.
  • Track marketing activities and assist with reporting, student outreach, and engagement efforts.
  • Perform other related marketing and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • At least one year of professional marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, events, or outreach initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with graphic design and digital content creation.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and website content management.
  • Experience using web analytics and marketing analytics tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Photography and visual content creation experience is a plus.
