Marketing Coordinator Intern

About the Role\n

Cedar and Cactus is looking for an emerging marketer and digital storyteller who is passionate about brand marketing, social media management, email marketing and community engagement. As a Marketing Coordinator Intern, you will support the planning, creation, and execution of marketing initiatives across multiple touchpoints, including social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook), email marketing, and website updates.

This is a hands-on learning experience where you'll gain real-world insight into agency life, campaign building, and brand voice development while making meaningful contributions each week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Assist with content creation including captions, image sourcing, and short-form video.
• \n
• Schedule and publish posts across social media platforms.
• \n
• Execute community management standards across assigned accounts.
• \n
• Track and report basic analytics and engagement metrics.
• \n
• Assist in process development throughout the agency.
• \n
• Research social trends, audio clips, and influencer opportunities.
• \n
• Support in planning content calendars and marketing campaigns.
• \n
• Attend weekly team check-ins and contribute to creative brainstorms and discussions.
• \n
• Execute graphic design and visual asset creation for email marketing campaigns.
• \n
• Assist with broader marketing projects across various digital touchpoints to support overall agency goals.

Job Details & Requirements\n

• Employment Type: Part-Time Internship (15-20 hours per week).
• \n
• Duration: 2 months (with the option for advancement to Marketing Coordinator afterwards).
• \n
• Compensation: $15-$20/hr
• \n
• Location: Hybrid – primarily remote, with in-person requirements for occasional content shoots (with advanced notice).

• Reporting: You will report directly to Deniz Sipahi, Founder and Senior Marketing Manager.
