JOB SUMMARY: NetVU is seeking a marketing professional with a track record for executing marketing and communications plans across channels. A successful individual will be skilled in visual design and content production, delivering compelling assets that support marketing campaigns targeting NetVU members, decision makers, and industry stakeholders while working in a remote environment. 

The ideal candidate has experience applying marketing best practices across marketing and communications channels and delivering and distributing content in a timely and efficient manner. They will be responsible for executing a content strategy across channels that drives business results. Experience with content creation targeting business-related education and conferences is important 

This role will contribute to key marketing initiatives covering email, blogs, multimedia, websites, mobile apps, and social media. Activities will include brand asset creation, content production, project coordination, and support for corporate events. 

Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, with writing experience. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain members. 

The person in this role will gain broad marketing experience while building a strong foundation for a high-growth marketing career.  

Please include portfolio showcasing graphic design, video work, and social media content. Writing samples welcome but not required. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Create visual assets — graphics, videos, and multimedia — for use across web, print, email, social, and events in a timely manner 
  • Write and edit engaging content for email, social, and blog on a regular basis, ensuring a consistent voice, highlighting impactful storylines, and driving audience engagement 
  • Work with internal departments to build an editorial plan and calendar 
  • Collaborate with internal team members to produce high-quality content across channels (email, newsletters, social, video, online, blogs, mobile, events) 
  • Adhere to organizational brand standards 
  • Repurpose content across multiple distribution channels 
  • Assist in managing the editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of assets 
  • Manage content for website(s) and mobile app(s) 
  • Grow engagement across social media channels through consistent, on-brand visual content 
  • Optimize content considering search and social engagement strategies 
  • Own multimedia, visual marketing design, and content creation (videos and graphics for web and print) 
  • Other duties as assigned 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION: 

  • Align with NetVU’s core values of being servant minded, flexible, humble, and a problem solver. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field 
  • Experience with Adobe creative applications required (or an equivalent solution like Canva) 
  • Expertise in social media platforms 
  • Skilled in creating and editing content with an attention to detail 
  • Knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and content management systems 
  • Proficiency in MS Office 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills 
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to establish priorities, work independently, handle interruptions and proceed with objectives without supervision  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Basic understanding of marketing metrics  
  • Strong  time and project management skills 
  • Ability to travel as necessary 
  • High energy, positive “can do” attitude demonstrating flexibility and teamwork 
  • Strong attention to detail, very organized and commitment to delivering polished, on-brand work 

PREFERRED: 

  • Experience developing or contributing to a content strategy 
  • Knowledge of associations and the insurance industry. 
  • Understanding of the Entrepreneurial Operating System. 
  • Working knowledge of iMIS database or other database software. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to operate a computer. 
  • Ability to communicate via a telephone and in writing. 
  • Ability to periodically travel and stay overnight when required for company events (out of town or state). 
  • Ability to lift 15-25 lbs.
