MARKETING COORDINATORBROOKLYN GRANGELocation: NYCJob Type: Part Time (10‑20 hours per week)ABOUT THE POSITIONBrooklyn Grange is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to help document and share the work happening across our farms, green roof projects, and hospitality programming.This role focuses on capturing, organizing, and preparing content that reflects real activity across farming, design/build projects, and events. The Marketing Coordinator helps maintain a consistent visual archive of Brooklyn Grange's work that supports social media, marketing, press, and storytelling. This role requires regular travel throughout NYC to capture content across all Brooklyn Grange's managed sites.GOALMaintain a consistent visual archive documenting the work, people, and seasonal evolution of Brooklyn Grange's sites while supporting social media, marketing, and press storytelling.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWeekly Content CoordinationSend a weekly email to managers identifying upcoming opportunities for content capture (farm work, installations, events, deliveries, etc.)Schedule and coordinate use of content capture equipment across teamsWeekly DocumentationDocument how our sites evolve over the season by following a standard walking route each week at a consistent time of day across all locations (Sunset Park, Navy Yard, Javits)Set up and record a weekly conversation between Brooklyn Grange's Directors, documenting decisions, projects, and progressResponsibilities include:Capturing content and documentation on our sitesSetting up camera and microphonesManaging recordingUploading footageFootage Collection and OrganizationDownload footage captured throughout the week from GoPros, Meta glasses, field cameras, gimbal devices, and additional clips captured by teamsUpload and organize footage within the shared content libraryReview footage weekly and identify 5–10 short clips (15–60 seconds) for use across social media and marketing channelsApply an understanding of current social media trends to inform clip selection and storytellingEnsure all content is reviewed and approved by the relevant director prior to posting (farming, design/build, events, etc.)Content Planning / Website SupportMeet weekly with the Director of Strategic Sales and POM to review footage and plan upcoming contentAssist with maintaining the Brooklyn Grange Squarespace website, including updating images and pages as neededPress SupportSupport the Director of Strategic Sales in identifying and preparing stories or materials for media outreach and press opportunitiesQUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with social media trends and platformsContent design skills are a plusComfort appearing on camera and/or speaking as needed for contentStrong organizational skillsComfortable handling camera equipment and managing footage downloadsAbility to organize digital files and maintain media librariesBasic video editing skills preferredWebsite management experience preferredComfortable traveling throughout New York CityWHAT WE'RE OFFERINGA progressive work environment that values teamwork, learning, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
