This role supports general marketing efforts across Little Light House, assists with content creation, manages project timelines, and provides essential administrative support to the Senior Director of Creative and Marketing and the broader team.

  • Maintain marketing calendars and ensure key dates, deadlines, and deliverables are visible across the team

  • Support brand consistency by helping monitor materials produced internally and by external partners

  • Assist in tracking marketing performance metrics and compiling reports for leadership

  • Build and maintain project timelines for campaigns, events, and creative deliverables

  • Coordinate with the Social Media Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Web Developer to ensure smooth handoffs and timely delivery

  • Track project requests submitted to the Marketing Department and ensure they move through the approval and production workflow

  • Send reminders, status updates, and meeting recaps to keep stakeholders informed

  • Identify bottlenecks and proactively raise issues to the Senior Director before they impact deadlines

Content Creation Support

  • Assist with copywriting for social media, email, web pages, newsletters, event materials, and internal communications

  • Help capture content (photos, short videos, quotes, stories) at events, programs, and around campus when needed

  • Support the Content Coordinator with content scheduling, captioning, and basic editing

  • Draft talking points, scripts, and supporting materials for marketing initiatives

  • Help maintain an organized content library (photos, video clips, testimonials, approved assets)

Department Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Creative and Marketing, including calendar coordination, meeting prep, agenda creation, and follow-up tracking

  • Maintain departmental files, documents, vendor contacts, and brand resources

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for the department

  • Coordinate vendor relationships, including print, promotional, and merchandise vendors

  • Support onboarding of new team members, interns, and volunteers within the Creative and Marketing department

  • Schedule department meetings, take notes, and track action items

  • Manage incoming marketing requests from other departments and route them appropriately

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Serve as a friendly, responsive point of contact for staff across the organization who need marketing or creative support

  • Represent the Creative and Marketing team in cross-departmental meetings as needed

  • Contribute ideas, energy, and a team-first attitude to brainstorms, planning sessions, and creative reviews

  • Provide backup support for other team members during peak seasons, events, or campaigns
