Marketing Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead and continue developing its growing marketing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company where the marketing strategy, technology stack, agencies, and internal team are already established. Rather than rebuilding the department, you'll build upon a solid foundation, optimize performance, coach an exceptional team, and ensure marketing continues driving measurable business growth.

Reporting directly to the President, this leader will oversee marketing efforts across three brands while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support both wholesale and direct-to-consumer revenue growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing business strategy with executives, analyzing marketing performance metrics, leading people, and developing long-term marketing initiatives that support company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Lead the overall marketing strategy and execution across three distinct brands.

·      Manage, mentor, and develop the internal marketing team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

·      Partner closely with the President and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.

·      Drive integrated marketing strategies across wholesale, direct-to-consumer, and online marketplace channels.

·      Oversee campaign planning, product launches, promotional calendars, and go-to-market execution.

·      Maintain and optimize the rolling 12-month marketing calendar.

·      Monitor and analyze marketing performance using KPIs including: ROAS, MER, CAC, Conversion Rate, Customer Acquisition, Website Performance and Revenue Growth

·      Present data-driven recommendations and actionable business insights to leadership.

·      Manage external agency relationships for paid media, SEO, website development, and creative services.

·      Continue improving marketing processes, campaign workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.

·      Support ongoing optimization of Shopify websites, HubSpot CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.

·      Ensure marketing initiatives effectively support Sales, Marketplace, and Operations teams.

·      Build scalable systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and marketing ROI.

REQUIREMENTS

·      Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

·      10+ years of progressive marketing experience.

·      Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing marketing teams.

·      Experience developing integrated marketing strategies across multiple customer segments.

·      Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.

·      Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

·      Experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

·      Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

MUST HAVES

·      10+ years of marketing leadership experience.

·      Proven success marketing to both: Direct-to-Consumer (DTC/eCommerce) and Wholesale/B2B customers

·      Strong experience using marketing analytics to drive business decisions.

·      Demonstrated people leadership with a collaborative, high-EQ management style.

·      Experience with: Shopify, HubSpot, Google Analytics (GA4)

·      Ability to communicate marketing performance using business metrics and KPIs.

·      Comfortable partnering directly with executive leadership.

NICE TO HAVE

·      Experience managing multiple brands under one organization.

·      Automotive aftermarket industry experience.

·      Manufacturing and distribution industry background.

·      Familiarity with NetSuite ERP.

·      Experience supporting both wholesale distribution and eCommerce businesses.

·      Experience working alongside external marketing agencies.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

·      Base Salary: $92,000 - $117,000 annually - OTE: Approximately $150,000

·      Performance Bonus: Annual bonus opportunity of up to 20% of base salary

WORKING CONDITIONS

·      100% On-site Sarasota, Florida - relocation required if applicable

·      Standard business hours - Minimal travel

·      Annual attendance at the SEMA Trade Show

·      Occasional customer visits within Florida

·      Reports directly to the President

·      Leads an established marketing team consisting of:

o  Digital Marketing Manager

o  Lifecycle Marketing Manager

o  Graphic Designer / 3D Rendering Specialist

o  Social Media Coordinator

·      Collaborates closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketplace Management, and external agencies.
