This role is instrumental in delivering high-quality client events and experiences—both in-person and virtual—that strengthen relationships and support the firm's strategic initiatives.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced professional services environment, brings strong event execution experience, and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service. This position offers the opportunity to work across offices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support a wide range of client-facing programs and sponsorships.ESSENTIAL DUTIESEvent Planning & ExecutionCoordinate and execute client programs, including seminars, webinars, receptions, dinners, and special eventsManage event logistics from start to finish, including venue sourcing and negotiation, vendor coordination, technology platform selection,budgeting, and on-site executionSupport the development of program materials, multimedia elements, and communicationsOversee registration, attendee experience, CLE coordination (as applicable), and post-event follow-upClient Entertainment Season Ticket ProgramMaintain the client entertainment ticket program for the NYC office, which involves a highly organized system of inventory management, establishing relationships with vendors, on-going internal communications to attorneys, evaluating and determining best-use allocation of tickets, electronic transfer of tickets, detailed recording, tracking and reporting of usage, and research on new opportunitiesPrograms & OperationsCoordinate the firm's client gift and holiday programs, including sourcing and logisticsMaintain accurate records and reporting across marketing systems and toolsSponsorships & Client EngagementManage firm sponsorships, including negotiating benefits, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring alignment with firm objectivesSupport client engagement initiatives, including event-related communications and follow-upCollaboration & Stakeholder EngagementServe as a key point of contact with vendors, venues, and industry partnersCollaborate with marketing, practice groups, and cross-functional teams across officesPartner with internal departments including Conference Services, CLE, IT, and CommunicationsTechnology & SystemsUtilize firm tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools to manage programs and track resultsSKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFULPositive, high-energy approach with a commitment to exceptional serviceStrong attention to detail and ability to execute seamlessly under pressureCreativity and innovation in designing engaging client experiencesAbility to work collaboratively with professionals at all levels of the organizationFlexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field3+ years of experience in event planning within a law firm or professional services environmentStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual event platforms (Teams, Zoom)Willingness to travel (primarily domestic, occasional international) and support occasional evening/weekend eventsKnowledge of the New York restaurant and hospitality scene, including experience sourcing venues for client-facing eventsThe salary range for this position in New York City is $70,000 - $80,000 and represents the Firm's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at this time of posting.
