Title: Marketing - Innovation Intern

The Gist

The Innovation Intern will be at the center of the Lagunitas innovation machine, leading project management and on-time delivery of our newest products. This will be a high-visibility role that will interface across a variety of stakeholders from Marketing and Sales to Brewing. This will be an amazing opportunity to learn and support new product development from brief through launch.

Who We're Lookin' For

• Must be currently enrolled, or recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a vocational program, college, community college, or university
• Must have a cumulative GPA over 3.0
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be available for full duration of the internship:
• Oct 2026 - March 1, 2027
• 40 hours/ week
• Hybrid
• $20/hr

What You'll Do

The individual will support the Innovation Manager and Sr. Innovation Manager with project management through the stage gate and commercialization processes. Responsibilities include: managing project timelines, tracking project budgets, and general operational support of the innovation process.

Project Overview

• Develop and proactively own innovation project timelines across total gate process
• Communicate timelines, key milestones, and project changes to cross-functional stakeholders
• Own regulatory review and approval process for all innovations, ensuring feedback is

incorporated inclusive of trademarks, TTB, COLA, state approvals

• Collaborate with Innovation Brewing team to manage Inno Lab project calendar
• Manage creation of innovation commercialization support materials

• Strong organization skills and highly detail-oriented able to create detailed timelines and

specific action plans for projects

What We're Lookin' For

• Marketing degree (complete or in pursuit) preferred
• Content creation experience preferred
• Comfortable at live events
• Proficient with MS Office tools
• Able to travel to 6 live events in September (typically 1 or 2 nights each trip)
• A passion for music and/or craft beer culture is a plus

Physical Stufff

• Typical office environment (by Lagunitas standards)

• Hybrid work policy: Required to be in the Petaluma office at least 3x per week in order to foster collaboration and serve as a culture carrier for the organization

• Schedule may include some evenings and weekends

• Travel: 6 live events in September (typically 1 or 2 nights each trip)

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
