Role Overview: Marketing Intern
Core Objectives: Optimization of brand assets, inventory integrity, and cross-channel content strategy. This role focuses on the "connective tissue" of the marketing department. The intern will manage the essential technical and physical tasks that allow our purchasing, showroom, and social strategies to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Asset Management
· DAM Optimization: High-volume downloading and organizing of event gallery images for migration into our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
· Space Planning Maintenance: Updating Floorplans software by auditing current inventory, adding new products, and purging discontinued items.
· Inventory Synchronization: Performing cross-references between the website and POR software to ensure SKU accuracy and availability.
Content Strategy
· Social Media Ideation: Researching emerging trends and brainstorming content pillars to help build a proactive calendar.
· Newsletter Ideation: Generating potential themes for email marketing designed to move prospects through the sales funnel and “close the loop.”
Showroom & Event Operations
· Open House Gifting: Managing the assembly and distribution of gifting and marketing deliverables for Open House events across multiple store locations.
· Showroom Management: Helping maintain Charlotte showroom standards by updating linen tags (e.g., napkin inventory) to ensure seamless client experience.

Future Growth for Marketing Coordinator Position
Digital Asset and Software Integrity: The Marketing Coordinator will manage the high-volume ingestion of event imagery into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure the creative and sales teams have immediate access to fresh content. They will also continuously audit the Floorplans software to add new inventory arrivals and remove discontinued items, ensuring design accuracy.
Content Ideation and Lead Nurturing: The Marketing Coordinator will contribute to the creative pipeline by researching trends to inform social media planning. They will also generate conceptual ideas for newsletters designed to bridge the gap between marketing awareness and sales conversion, helping to effectively close the sales loop.
Showroom Management: The role involves physical brand management, such as updating labels and tags for showroom inventory like napkins to maintain a premium client experience.
Client Event Operations: The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate the preparation and logistics of marketing deliverables and gifting for open house events, ensuring these assets reach their respective store locations on schedule.
Market Analysis: The Marketing Coordinator role will involve deep-dive analyses of competitor social media presence and website functionality. By tracking their content pillars, engagement strategies, and digital user experience, the specialist will identify emerging industry trends and aesthetic shifts. This research ensures our digital presence remains at the forefront of the industry and helps us anticipate shifts in client preferences before they become mainstream.
Sales Resource Development: To better support the sales team, the Marketing Coordinator will develop professional resources and collateral that translate data into persuasive sales tools. This includes creating case studies, product guides, and showroom resources that help account executives communicate value to high-end clients.
