Role Purpose:

Contribute to the growth and effectiveness of the AAI/Spalding Marketing team by producing high-quality market intelligence, competitive insights, content support, and business analysis that help clarify product positioning, inform commercial decisions, and support successful execution of marketing and business development priorities.

Key Outcomes:

·         Actionable market intelligence: Deliver research and analysis that identify relevant trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and growth opportunities for AAI/Spalding products and categories.

·         Stronger product positioning: Improve the clarity, consistency, and relevance of product messaging across presentations, marketing materials, and customer-facing content.

·         Decision-ready business analysis: Translate data, research findings, and competitive information into concise insights that help managers and business partners make informed decisions.

·         Reliable commercial support: Support international and sales-related initiatives with accurate reporting, quotes, documentation, and follow-through that enable timely execution.

·         High-quality project contribution: Contribute to marketing and business development projects with organized work, timely deliverables, clear communication, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate business, marketing, communications, analytics, or related program.
  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, product positioning, market research, business development, or consumer products.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, organize, interpret, and summarize information into usable insights.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise summaries and presentation-ready materials.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to contribute in a team environment and seek feedback appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization, research tools, or digital marketing platforms is a plus.
