The Boulevard marketing team is seeking a fall intern to support execution of brand activations and special events. The position provides hands-on exposure to marketing strategy through participation in team meetings, consumer engagement, and special projects tied to key brand initiatives and annual business planning.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Special event execution, including responsibility for activation set up and breakdown, consumer engagement, and sampling
- Assist as needed on point of sale and promotional tools inventory management
- Special projects as it relates to priority brand initiatives, brand activations, and annual planning
- Shadow and participate in marketing meetings and presentations to gain insight and experience
- Assist as needed with execution of consumer sweepstakes prizing and influencer item fulfillment
- Assist in PR, influencer and media sample fulfillment
- Competitive activity and industry trend research
- Assist in content creation props procurement and event material inventory management
- Assist sales and marketing teams in special event execution, including activation set up and breakdown, consumer engagement and sampling

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university studying toward a Bachelors/Associates degree in specified function
- This is an entry-level position therefore previous experience is not required
- Hands-on work experience in specified function is helpful
- Program will run tentatively beginning in September – November 2026

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Frequent stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to fifty (50) pounds if necessary
- Will work in various outdoor weather conditions, including frequent exposure to the cold, sun, and heat.
- Will be required to do light traveling around the Kansas City area.
