Title: Marketing Intern
\nReports To: Executive Director
\nIntroduction
\nThe North 24th Street Business Improvement District (BID) is a quasi-form of local government established to champion the economic development, infrastructure improvement, promotion and safety of the BID area driven by community collaboration. The North 24th Street BID Association (BID Association) is the nonprofit, operating arm of the BID which plans, funds, and implements projects and programs to fulfill the BID’s objectives.
\nPosition Overview
\nThe Marketing Intern supports marketing needs, designs marketing materials, works with team members to evaluate current marketing efforts and implements marketing strategies, while supporting the daily operations and administration of the organization.
\nCompensation
\nThis is a flexible, part-time, internship requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week. Compensated at $18/hour.

\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities
\nThe position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
\n∙
\nImplements the North 24th Street Business Improvement District’s marketing plan
\n∙
\nSupports communications across all platforms including print, digital and broadcast media
\n∙
\nAssists with social media management and updates
\n∙
\nSupports fundraising efforts
\n∙
\nProvides outreach support to staff, board members and committees
\nQualifications, Knowledge and Skills
\n∙
\nCollege student or graduate studying Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or Business
\n∙
\nExperience in marketing including: email, websites and social media management
\n∙
\nDemonstrates excellence in written and oral communication with strong attention to detail
\n∙
\nUnderstands design concepts with experience in Creative Cloud and Canva
\n∙
\nProficient with PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
\n∙
\nA writing and design sample is requirednd community engagement initiatives. This role also involves coordinating with partners, gathering feedback from visitors and businesses, and reporting on marketing efforts to help refine strategies and drive measurable impact.
