OSG USA, INC. is a leading manufacturer of taps, endmills, drills, and indexable cutting tools. OSG also serves the fastener industry by offering a complete line of thread rolling, flat, cylindrical, and planetary, rack and trim dies. The company markets its products to numerous industries including automotive, die mold, aerospace, energy, heavy industry and dental.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Intern assists the Marketing department with event and tradeshow coordination, promotional items, advertising, and marketing initiatives. Their main duties include supporting event planning and logistics, preparing marketing materials and presentations, assisting with social media campaigns, and completing administrative and clerical tasks.

Job Functions for Marketing Intern:

  • Assist in organizing, planning, and supporting marketing events, trade shows, and customer-facing activities

  • Help coordinate event logistics, marketing materials, promotional items, and trade show setup

  • Support marketing and advertising campaigns across digital and traditional channels

  • Assist with the distribution and inventory management of marketing materials and promotional products

  • Support social media, content, and other marketing initiatives as needed

  • Perform market and competitive research to support marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Support the marketing team with daily administrative and clerical tasks, including updating and maintaining customer records and marketing databases

  • Assist with additional marketing projects and departmental initiatives as assigned

Qualifications for Marketing Intern:

  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools such as Canva, email marketing platforms, and content management systems

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Current enrollment or recent completion of an undergraduate program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

  • Experience with content creation, including photography/videography, social media, or graphic design (preferred)

  • Experience assisting with event planning, trade shows, or promotional activities (preferred)

Physical Working Demands:

  • To perform the duties of this job, an individual must be able to read, write understand and communicate by telephone using the English Language.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time (3-4 hours at a time). The employee is frequently required to use hands for typing, 10-key operation, telephone dialing, feeling objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to talk and hear.

  • Specific vision abilities required to this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to enter information into a computer.

Compensation type:

  • $18-19 per hour

Reports to: Marketing Manager/Director

Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly
