Job Title: Marketing Intern
Type: Part-Time, Paid Internship (+Academic Credit)

SUMMARY: The Marketing Internship Program is designed to turn real, day-to-day operations into high-quality marketing content that strengthens the McCorquodale Transfer brand and drives growth. This role provides hands-on exposure to luxury moving, designer logistics, and white-glove service environments while developing practical marketing and content creation skills. Interns will work closely with operations teams to capture real work in real time and translate it into compelling digital content that reflects our “Expect Exceptional” standard.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
• Duration: 8–12 weeks
• Hours: 15-25 hours/week
• Compensation: $15/hr (+ academic credit eligible)
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (DAY-TO-DAY):
• Capture live job activity (moves, installs, warehouse operations) by capturing content on site
• Create short-form video and photography content (including drone footage)
• Highlight designer installs and white-glove service execution
• Support local outreach and market research
• Assist in showcasing brand presence across platforms
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure accurate representation of work
• Maintain organized content libraries
• Assist with brand aligned content creation for social platforms
• Assist with Database mining and management
• Assist with standardizing commercial communications across all profit centers
• Support with organization and content for marketing events.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Direct Reporting: VP of Interior Design Relations & Rick Goodwin
Cross-Functional Exposure: Operations, warehouse, and client-facing teams
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT & FEEDBACK:
Managed jointly by Marketing Leadership and Market GM.
Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins to review content quality, output consistency, and
brand alignment.
Feedback will be direct and performance based.

The Marketing Team ensures alignment with brand standards.
Interns must maintain clean, professional visuals, proper uniforms, consistent branding, and reflect
the “Expect Exceptional” standard.
EQUIPMENT EXPECTATIONS:
Interns are expected to provide their own basic equipment including a smartphone or camera and
a laptop.
SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY:
Semi-structured schedule aligned with active jobs and operations.
Flexibility provided for editing, posting, and planning outside of field work.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, PR, Business, Communications, Design, or related field.
Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and work ethic.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to be on-site during jobs and occasionally assist with light physical tasks.
