Job Title: Marketing Intern

Department: Marketing

Location: West Warwick, RI (Onsite; hybrid may be considered)

Work Hours: 2-3 days per week, 9 am-5 pm

Position Summary

AstroNova is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our growing Aerospace and Test & Measurement businesses. This role offers hands-on exposure to marketing in a highly technical, mission‑critical environment serving customers such as major aerospace OEMs, airlines, and defense partners.

The Marketing Intern will support a broad range of activities including content creation, event support, digital marketing, market research, and sales enablement. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining real-world experience in industrial, aerospace, or technology marketing while working closely with a cross‑functional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing materials including presentations, brochures, one-pagers, and sales support content
  • Support digital marketing efforts, including website updates, email campaigns, and LinkedIn content
  • Help prepare materials for trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and company events
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support product positioning and go‑to‑market strategies
  • Assist with internal communications, announcements, and marketing coordination across teams
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets, templates, and content libraries
  • Track basic marketing metrics and help compile performance summaries
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing team as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media platforms is a plus
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn technical products and translate complex concepts into clear messaging
  • Professional, reliable, and eager to contribute as part of a team
