As the Marketing Lead of Media Strategy, you will support the planning and implementation of assigned paid media plans. The role works cross functionally with internal marketing teams in creation of media plans to drive marketing goals. The Marketing Lead will assist in the day-to-day management of the media agency, as well as manage media budgets for area of responsibility and provide operational support for the team.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do
  • Manage the media planning process from planning through implementation for assigned onsite and offsite campaigns
  • Partner with internal partners and media agency on creation and execution of campaigns, ensuring campaigns deliver against goals while adhering to established guidelines
  • Steward the end-to-end process including media plan deliverables, budgets, approvals, and documentation
  • Understand and communicate drivers of campaign performance to internal and external partners
  • Support strategic planning and team projects across additional paid and owned media channels

Basic qualifications
  • 3 years of progressive media planning experience in advertising agency, client or retail media network setting
  • Familiarity with retail media network, programmatic display and/or social campaign execution
  • Project coordination skills including rigorous attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Curious and eagerness to learn, desire to stay current on industry trends, tools and business opportunities
