    Position Summary:

    The Marketing Lead serves Southland by defining the overarching strategy and vision for how the church communicates its mission and culture. This role focuses on high-level alignment, steering the marketing of church-wide initiatives, and partnering with ministries to translate their goals into actionable campaigns. By focusing on strategy, team leadership, and relational collaboration, the Marketing Lead ensures that Southland’s message is impactful, cohesive, and compelling.


    Essential Position Responsibilities:
     
    • Develop and oversee the strategic promotional plans for church-wide events, initiatives, and major milestones.
    • Partner actively with ministry leaders to understand their vision and create targeted communication plans to mobilize their specific audiences.
    • Guide the high-level strategy and vision for social media to ensure it accurately and authentically reflects the culture and life of Southland.
    • Oversee the weekend communications strategy, including scheduling and coordinating service hosts and weekly announcements.
    • Actively recruit, develop, and support a volunteer team to assist with communications operations.
    • Explore and implement strategic tools and workflows to enhance campaign ideation, marketing analysis, and overall team efficiency.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • The ability to receive feedback, grow from it, and help make Southland’s message as clear and compelling as possible.
    • Follows the lifestyle guardrails of Southland and conducts their personal life according to the Bible's instructions.
