Our Business Development & Marketing department has an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager supporting the Business Practice Group. This exempt position reports to the Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager for the Business Group and will serve as a key contact for business development and marketing activities related to the Business Group.ResponsibilitiesSupport the relevant practice teams' marketing efforts, including monthly team meetings and identifying client opportunities that enhance profitability.Maintain a strong knowledge of the legal market and the Firm's nationwide capabilities to maximize marketing initiative effectiveness.Stay abreast of client news and industry trends to suggest opportunities for expansion or brand building through newsletters, events, and other engagements.Manage RFP/proposal responses and pitch meeting preparations, creating customized materials and sharing best practices.Plan and execute client events from start to follow‑up, such as webinars, conferences, speaking engagements, sponsorships, and other events.Work closely with the Public Relations team to leverage media opportunities, maintain web content, and publish timely client alerts.Prepare Chambers, Legal 500 and other submissions to rankings and directories.Manage production of marketing collateral, brochures, practice profiles, meeting placemats, invitations, etc.Maintain the Experience Database for significant matters.Support the integration of lateral attorneys.Assist Team Leaders and the Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager with group‑wide development projects and initiatives.Liaise regularly with the Business Development & Marketing department, attorneys, and team leaders of assigned practice teams.Build consensus and cohesion among attorneys with varied backgrounds and subject matter expertise.Other duties as requested and assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field with a minimum of five years of experience in professional services marketing. Law firm experience highly desirable; account management experience a plus.Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
