We are looking for a motivated
Marketing Manager who can bring structure, creativity, and a clear strategy to our marketing efforts.
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will develop and execute a coordinated marketing strategy across our websites, paid advertising, social media, email, and local promotions.
This role goes beyond creating content and posting on social media. We need someone who can determine what to promote, who to reach, which channels to use, and how to measure results. Content creation is part of the job, but the larger responsibility is to increase awareness, attract customers, generate qualified inquiries, and support sales.
Based primarily in Bristol, this position requires regularly driving between our Bristol, Milford, Newington, and Waterbury locations to understand each location’s needs, collaborate with staff, and gather content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy that supports company goals and the needs of each location.
- Plan coordinated campaigns across websites, social media, paid advertising, email, and in-store promotions.
- Tailor messaging to retail shoppers, resellers, and wholesale buyers while maintaining a consistent brand.
- Manage a marketing calendar for promotions, new inventory, seasonal opportunities, and company initiatives.
- Recommend marketing budgets and adjust spending based on priorities and campaign performance.
- Keep company websites current with accurate information and promotions, and improve online visibility and the customer experience.
- Plan, launch, and improve paid advertising and email campaigns to attract new customers and encourage repeat business.
- Regularly visit Bristol, Milford, Newington, and Waterbury to understand inventory, customer interests, and each location’s marketing needs.
- Work closely with location managers, sales teams, and leadership to identify opportunities and respond to changing business priorities.
- Capture photos and videos, create promotional materials, and manage social media with a clear purpose and consistent schedule.
- Analyze website traffic, content views, engagement, and advertising costs using analytics tools and reporting dashboards.
- Set measurable goals, report what is working, and recommend changes that improve marketing results and support sales.
Must Have
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple channels.
- Hands-on experience with paid advertising, social media management, website updates, and email marketing.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into practical recommendations.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines.
- Comfortable creating photo and video content in retail and warehouse environments.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of both strategy and execution.
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to drive regularly between all four locations.
Nice to Have
- Three or more years of relevant marketing experience.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, wholesale, liquidation, or a business with multiple locations.
- Familiarity with search engine optimization and improving website conversions.
- Experience with graphic design, video editing, or managing outside marketing partners.
- A portfolio showing campaigns you managed and measurable results.
Schedule & Availability
- Full-time, in-person position based primarily in Bristol, CT.
- Regular travel between all four locations is required.
- Flexibility to support occasional needs outside the normal schedule.
