Informa Markets, a division of Informa, creates global event platforms across 14 specialist markets.Job Description This role is based in our Chicago Office.As a vital member of the show management team, you will collaborate closely with the Group Event Director and Marketing Lead to develop and execute comprehensive event marketing strategies across both digital and traditional channels.Role Accountability and Duties Collaborate on marketing strategy for IME's show brands and align with event goalsCreate, manage, and produce attendee and exhibitor promotional campaignsAnalyze attendee segments and personas to drive attendance and meet KPIsTactical execution of marketing campaignsPartner with central marketing to bring show brands to life and align with messagingWork cross‑functional teams on themes, ideas, schedules (sales, event, digital, graphics, email, web, data, ops, conference)Oversee development and production of digital and printed collateral for in‑person and virtual eventsDrive continuous improvement and propose fresh ideas for event marketing impactDevelop relationships with external media partners for barter and advertising opportunitiesOwn website content and ensure accuracy and timelinessManage marketing budgets and costsPost‑show analysis of marketing campaigns, post‑show surveysTravel 15% of the time and work across time zonesQualifications Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in trade show or events environmentSolid understanding of SEO, PPC, and social mediaInfluencer marketing experience is desirableHigh creativity and outside‑box thinking for innovative marketing strategiesExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in marketing analytics tools to track and measure performanceThrives in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, independent and team memberExperience managing budgets and multiple project timelinesExcellent written and verbal communication, copywriting and editing experienceSmart planning and keen attention to detail for large event management ( Eloqua, Wrike )Analytics experience (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and basic HTML is a plusBenefits Great community: welcoming culture, social events, charity day, supportive networkTime out: 15 days PTO rising to 20 after 3 years and 25 after 6 years, 10 national holidays, birthday leave day, up to 4 weeks remote a yearCompetitive benefits: 401k match, health, vision, dental, parental leave, ESPP with minimum 15% discountWell‑being support: EAP, mental health first aiders, wellness appRecognition: global awards, kudos programsLocation Chicago, ILCompensation $60,000 – $70,000 based on experienceApplication Deadline This posting will automatically expire on 11/3/2025Equal Opportunity We are a formal Equal Opportunities Employer.
