    About the Role
    The Colorado Mammoth are seeking a resourceful, self-starting part-time Marketing Manager to serve as the day-to-day marketing engine for the team during the NLL season. This is a hands-on, generalist role built for someone who wants broad exposure across brand, content, advertising, and cross-departmental execution. This position will own the team's brand voice across channels, manage a limited paid media presence, produce on-brand creative from provided templates, and act as the connective tissue between ticket sales, sponsorship, front office, and game presentation to make sure team initiatives are executed off the field.
     
    This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time, primarily seasonal work managing brand operations. The right candidate is comfortable owning ambiguity, and can move projects forward with minimal day-to-day oversight.
    Role Responsibilities
    Brand Communications:
    • Own internal and external Mammoth brand communications, including email newsletters, social media content, and promotional messaging
    • Write and deliver copy for a variety of platforms including in-game PA reads, email features, website, and more
    • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all fan-facing channels
    • Build and manage a content calendar covering game days, ticket promotions, and team news
    Advertising & Ticket Sales Support:
    • Manage a small paid advertising footprint to drive ticket sales, including paid social campaigns
    • Coordinate TV and radio trade schedules with broadcast/media partners
    • Track performance of paid placements and adjust based on results
    Creative Production:
    • Use basic Adobe Photoshop skills to edit and produce team-branded graphics from provided templates (social assets, email headers, promotional graphics, etc.)
    • Ensure all creative output is accurate and delivered on deadline
    Cross-Functional Execution:
    • Act as the central point of coordination across ticket sales, sponsorship, front office, and game presentation to keep shared marketing initiatives moving
    • Translate department needs (e.g., a sponsorship activation, a ticket promotion) into executed marketing deliverables
    • Proactively drive initiatives to completion without needing to be managed closely
    Qualifications:
    • 2-5 years of marketing, communications, or related experience; sports industry experience is a plus but not required
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop; comfortable editing within an existing brand template
    • Experience managing social media accounts and/or email marketing platforms in a professional capacity
    • Basic understanding of paid social advertising; media/broadcast trade experience is a plus
    • Highly organized with strong follow-through — able to juggle multiple concurrent projects without dropping details
    • Self-motivated and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy; this role has minimal day-to-day supervision
    • Strong written communication skills across a range of tones (fan-facing vs. internal/leadership)
    • Comfortable working game nights, evenings, and weekends during the season
    • A genuine interest in sports marketing and a desire to build a broad, foundational skill set
    Additional Details:
    • Compensation: $24-$29/hour
    • Team: Reports directly to the Colorado Mammoth General Manager with support from the VP Marketing, Colorado Avalanche; regularly collaborates with Ticket Sales, Sponsorship, Front Office, and Game Presentation staff
