Job Description:

Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

The Role

The Marketing Manager, Community & Ecosystem Engagement will join the Fidelity Labs Central Business Operations team and lead programs that increase awareness, participation, and collaboration across Fidelity Labs and the broader innovation community. You will connect Fidelity Labs teams, portfolio companies, New Ventures, Fidelity business units, and external startup and fintech communities through events, content, social media, partnerships, and communications.

This role will help portfolio companies access Fidelity's network, expertise, and resources while expanding Fidelity Labs' visibility among founders, investors, startups, and industry partners. Working across Marketing, Communications, Brand, Events, Legal, Compliance, and business teams, you will develop and execute programs that support collaboration, thought leadership, and business growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills and enjoys working across teams to turn ideas into impactful programs and experiences.

The Skills and Expertise You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, events, communications, business development, startup programs, or a related field.

  • Experience developing and executing engagement, event, or partnership strategies.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with business leaders, founders, startups, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of how events, content, social media, email marketing, and partnerships drive participation and awareness.

  • Experience creating programs and events that encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and business results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management skills, including experience managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and multiple priorities.

  • Ability to influence partners and work effectively across teams and levels.

  • Experience using data and feedback to measure results and improve programs.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Interest in startups, fintech, innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with startup ecosystems, founder programs, venture capital platforms, accelerators, partnerships, or business development.

  • Familiarity with FinTech, venture investing, or emerging technology sectors.
