The Marketing Manager, Forecasting will help drive growth by managing the Performance Paid Media budgets and optimizing multi-million dollar investments to inform key executive decisions and maximize business impact.
This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Chicago, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
A day in the life as a Marketing Manager, Forecasting...
Own the Paid Media budgeting, forecasting, and accruals process with cross functional teams
Prepare and maintain Paid Media forecasts and budgets across all programs
Meet regularly with Paid Media Channel Leads to ensure proper execution of budgeted plans
Perform ROI analysis of Paid Media channels to drive investment mix recommendations, in partnership with media planning
Own the Paid Media monthly billing process across all channels (search, social, programmatic)
Partner closely with Finance to stay informed on larger business changes that impact Marketing financials
Ad hoc projects as needed supporting Paid Media and other marketing channels
What you'll bring to the table...
Excellent communication and problem solving skills with the ability to present financials and financial analysis to Marketing leadership
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, that are detail-oriented
Strong ability to analyze business problems, summarize results and present recommendations to cross functional teams
Ability to synthesize information necessary for Paid Media budgets, forecasts and business analysis
Strong ability to organize and analyze large datasets using advanced formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and PivotTables, with strong knowledge of financial modeling

5 years experience in marketing, financial planning, or financial analytics
Bachelor's degree in Marketing Analytics, Accounting, Finance strongly preferred
Experience using HFM (Oracle Hyperion Financial Management)
Experience with MS Excel, Google Sheets for collaborative data tracking
Experience managing and reconciling budgets directly within Medius, our third party reporting tool
