Description Industry customers have unique needs and paths for AI and cloud adoption, and the AWS Industry Marketing team helps drive go-to-market motions and marketing activities that help industry customers transform their businesses using the cloud, data, and AI. As a Marketing Manager for Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS), you will own the planning and execution of high-visibility industry moments, including large-scale 1P and 3P events. You will drive event strategy, manage execution in partnership with event marketing teams, and ensure AWS and customer executives deliver compelling, differentiated experiences at premier industry events. You will partner with other marketing teams (e.g., web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, and central events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives that showcase AWS's HCLS value proposition. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, has experience producing executive-level event experiences, and can manage complex logistics across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable with using data and customer feedback to inform strategy for events and content investment decisions. A passion for healthcare and life sciences and the ability to connect AWS solutions to industry-specific customer needs is essential. Key job responsibilities Own end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of AWS presence at large-scale 1P and 3P industry events in partnership with central event teams Plan and execute marketing initiatives at industry events to showcase messaging, content, keynotes, and breakout sessions that land AWS's HCLS value proposition Manage high-visibility event moments involving senior AWS and customer executives, including keynotes, fireside chats, and executive roundtables Develop event content strategies that highlight AWS's healthcare and life sciences differentiation and customer success stories Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, and central events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives Coordinate across internal teams (product marketing, executive communications, sales, partner) and external vendors to deliver seamless event experiences Drive post-event measurement and reporting to continuously measure and optimize marketing initiatives, quantifying impact and informing future event strategy Partner with customer references and advocacy teams to secure high-impact customer speakers and stories for events About the team The AWS Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Industry Marketing team helps customers across healthcare providers, payors, life sciences, genomics, and medtech accelerate their cloud, data, and AI journeys. We operate at the intersection of technology and some of the world's most complex and consequential industries -- telling customer stories, creating differentiated industry content, and showing up at the moments that matter most to our customers and executives. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
