Marketing Manager II

Pay: $55 - $59/hr, paid weekly
Hours: Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Hybrid (3 days on-site, flexible schedule). This is a trans-Atlantic role requiring early morning meetings. No overtime, on-call, or weekend work expected.
Location: Burbank, CA 91505
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)


Overview

Support the global marketing strategy for the Harry Potter franchise and select Warner Bros. live-action brands. This role partners with internal teams and external agencies to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, manage franchise initiatives, and ensure brand consistency across global markets. Ideal for an experienced studio-side marketing professional with a strong background in franchise marketing, cross-functional collaboration, and large-scale campaign execution.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated franchise marketing campaigns across multiple consumer touchpoints.
  • Partner with Franchise Strategy, Digital, Creative, and Portfolio teams to align marketing initiatives with brand objectives.
  • Support major global franchise activations, including Holidays at Hogwarts 2026 and Back to Hogwarts '27.
  • Collaborate with digital teams on marketing across social media, digital platforms, and YouTube.
  • Coordinate external marketing agencies, including RFPs, onboarding, campaign execution, and asset distribution.
  • Lead cross-functional marketing initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Track campaign performance and KPIs with Strategy and Portfolio teams.
  • Develop executive-level marketing presentations and strategic planning materials.
  • Maintain franchise brand standards and ensure consistency across global partners and business units.
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors to ensure story continuity and brand integrity.
  • Review marketing materials and provide guidance on brand and franchise compliance.
  • Support additional franchise marketing initiatives and priority projects as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience developing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple consumer touchpoints.
  • 8+ years of studio-side marketing experience within a major entertainment studio (such as Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount, Universal, or similar).
  • Experience leading cross-functional marketing initiatives and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and executive communication abilities.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and franchise marketing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 5%.
