Work Experience
Minimum 7 years’ experience Retail Marketing, Digital, Brand Management, Promotions, Partnerships or related field required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing agencies, 3rd parties
Consumer Products experience required
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
Bachelor’s degree in related field required

•Savvy digital marketer with knowledge of e-comm & media buying (or managing media agencies)

•Experience with both B2B and B2C marketing & communications (trade shows, retail pitches, Summits, product launch events, etc.)

Description: SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Senior Manager North America Retail Marketing is responsible for regional Marketing activations for WBDCP and is part of a larger team that develops North America strategic plans and go-to-market activations across retail, licensees, and consumers for all intellectual property to drive to revenue goals. The team collaborates closely with Sales & Retail Business Development, Category Management, Creative/Product Development, Legal and Finance to drive financial targets and business innovation to reach fans. A successful candidate is strategic, innovative, thinks creatively, is flexible, works collaboratively, and has exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
The objective of the Senior Manager position is to help maximize the region’s business and drive holistic marketing activations across the market. This position works closely with the CP Global Franchise teams to provide input to the Global plan, identifying specific needs and localizing CP Global Franchise Plans for intellectual properties across DC, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes and more. This role also works in close partnership with Franchise Management to develop Digital Marketing, Consumer Relationship Management (CRM) initiatives that drive brand awareness and drive sell-through in North America.
This role also works in close partnership with North America Sales and Retail Brand Development to drive retail marketing campaigns, differentiation, and sell-through initiatives across assigned retail accounts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.North America Franchise Management & Strategic Plan Development: Leverages global Franchise plans to develop, manage and present North America strategies, including Plan of Record and Activation Plans, for assigned franchises/properties.
a.Localizes global franchise plans for assigned franchises for licensees for North America and works to develop cohesive and synergistic plans across all disciplines within WBCP
b.Determines franchise prioritization and strategic approach for North America region in partnership with Sales and Category
c.Trade Asset Lead: Creates digital marketing and franchise sell-in tools specific for North America (i.e. Recaps, One-sheets, etc.)
d.Special Projects and Event Marketing Lead: Produces B2B Events and Collateral including NACP Summit and Trade Conference Sponsorships
e.Identifies franchise and consumer segment growth opportunities for NA
f.Utilizes Best Practices from other regional activations
2.North America Digital Strategy & Management: Leverages licensee and retail marketing to develop digital marketing communication tactics to drive awareness of product launches
a.Marketing Campaign management and oversight of all product content and media campaigns for digital marketing across all franchises in North America
b.Determines franchise prioritization for digital marketing programs for the development of product content
c.CRM Lead: Directs strategy and manages development of newsletters and other digital efforts in partnership with Digital Franchise, driving value for our licensees & retailers through O&O platforms
3.North America Retail Strategy: Leverages Sales and RBD plans to develop retail marketing plans and post-mortem analytics
a.Creates retail marketing activations and sell-in tools specific for assigned retailer(s) to differentiate across the market
b.Determines franchise and retail prioritization for North America in partnership with Retail Sales and Category leads.
c.Marketing Campaign management and oversight (Plan of Record, Activation Plan)
4.Drives the following Marketing activities for North America:
a.Develops Marketing campaigns to drive strategic and operating plan of assigned franchise(s) and retailer(s)
b.Execution of retail and consumer marketing initiatives, including serving as one of the NA liaisons within CP, other Warner Bros. divisions vendor/agencies for assigned franchise(s) and retailer(s).
c.Franchise and retail oversight on digital marketing activations such as original digital video content, influencer initiatives, and retail & consumer media campaigns in North America.
d.Ensures that marketing activations are designed and implemented to meet specific measurable goals (short term and long term) that drive revenue for NA.
e.Coordinates with all WBCP departments to drive the execution of cohesive brand initiatives, including but not limited to promotional activities, retail, trade and/or consumer promotions, advertising, and other activities.
f.Works with NA Category teams to identify incremental business opportunities and to increase sell-in and sell-thru of licensed products for assigned franchises
g.Partners with licensees to amplify and supplement consumer and retail marketing efforts
h.Works with NA Sales & Retail Business Development to ensure brand placement and presence at retail is maximized
i.Serves as marketing lead in retail and licensee meetings, as appropriate.
j.Partners with Global Franchise to develop best practices (e.g., tool kits, activations, etc.)
k.Recommends and works with Research & Insights to implement market research for assigned franchises and retailers where applicable
l.Builds and maintains relationship with colleagues working to drive business in sister divisions: TV, Interactive, WHE, etc. to establish a reliable and timely flow of information and materials.
m.Manages brand integrity of licensee and retail marketing tools and assets for B2B and B2C for North America including digital assets for ecomm, in-store POS, etc.
5.Marketing budget oversight & management: develops, tracks and implements use of franchise and retail-specific budgets in collaboration with Sales/RBD & Category teams
