We've partnered with a highly respected and rapidly growing boutique law firm, seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead firmwide marketing, business development, brand visibility, AI search strategy, CRM management, and partner-facing business development initiatives. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a legal marketing professional who understands how sophisticated clients evaluate and select outside counsel in today's market and can leverage both traditional marketing channels and emerging AI-driven visibility platforms. Los Angeles, CA (Preferred) | Hybrid (3 Days In-Office / 2 Remote) - Salary: $120,000 - $135,000Key ResponsibilitiesLead the firm's marketing and business development strategy.Drive AI search visibility initiatives across platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude.Manage and optimize the firm's CRM platform (InterAction preferred).Support partners with business development planning, pipeline management, and relationship-building initiatives.Develop and manage the firm's editorial content calendar.Oversee website strategy, content updates, and brand positioning.Coordinate legal directory submissions, including Chambers, Best Lawyers, and Lawdragon.Plan and execute client events, CLE programs, sponsorships, conferences, retreats, and networking initiatives.Create and oversee marketing analytics, reporting, and ROI measurement.Manage marketing vendors, budgets, and departmental operations.Supervise and mentor the Marketing Assistant.Qualifications5-10 years of progressive marketing experience.Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience within a law firm environment (required).Experience supporting attorney and partner-level business development initiatives.Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.Experience with CRM platforms, preferably InterAction.Advanced proficiency utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude.Experience managing websites, content strategy, and professional services branding.Event planning and execution experience, including conferences, retreats, webinars, and client-facing programs.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.Preferred ExperienceLegal marketing leadership experience.AI Search Visibility / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives.Chambers, Best Lawyers, Lawdragon, and legal rankings submissions.Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, iManage, SharePoint.Experience creating executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards.Additional Firm RequirementsLaw firm experience is mandatory.Candidates with defense-side law firm experience are strongly preferred.Stable employment history is critical.Candidates with repeated short-term tenures (1-2 years per employer) will not be considered.Los Angeles candidates are preferred.Exceptional candidates located near the firm's New York or Silicon Valley offices may be considered.Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.Strong communication, business development, and executive-facing skills required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
