The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and promoting the company's brand across all marketing channels. This position creates engaging visual and written content that supports recruiting, business development, employee engagement, and client relationships.Working closely with Human Resources, Business Development, Operations, Estimating, and Executive Leadership, the Marketing Specialist captures the company's people, projects, culture, and capabilities through photography, videography, graphic design, social media, and marketing communications. This role ensures brand consistency while helping position the company as both an employer of choice and a trusted heavy civil contractor.Technical Skills Adobe Creative Suite (lnDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro); Canva ProMicrosoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); Social media management platformsVideo editing software; Photography equipmentContent Management Systems (CMS); Basic website editingEmail marketing platformsBrand Management Maintain and protect the company's brand standards across all internal and external communications.Develop and update brand guidelines, templates, and graphic standards.Ensure consistency of logos, colors, fonts, imagery, and messaging.Create PowerPoint templates, letterhead, proposal templates, and presentation materials.Social Media & Digital Marketing Manage the company's social media platforms.Develop monthly social media calendars and content strategies.Capture and edit jobsite photography and videography.Produce videos highlighting projects, employees, equipment, safety initiatives, and company culture.Monitor engagement and recommend strategies to increase visibility and recruiting effectiveness.Stay current on social media trends and best practices.Graphic Design & Content Creation Design brochures, flyers, advertisements, banners, signage, and promotional materials.Create graphics for newsletters, presentations, recruiting campaigns, and company announcements.Develop infographics to communicate company accomplishments, safety statistics, project milestones, and workforce initiatives.Write engaging copy for marketing campaigns and company communications.Recruiting & Employer Branding Partner with Human Resources to support recruiting initiatives.Design career fair displays, booth graphics, promotional items, and recruiting materials.Develop recruitment campaigns for field and professional positions.Produce employee spotlight stories and videos.Promote internships, apprenticeship programs, and company culture.Internal Communications Design and publish company newsletters.Create graphics for employee announcements and company events.Support employee recognition initiatives.Assist with executive presentations and internal communications.Business Development Support Assist with proposal graphics and project profiles.Develop project highlight sheets and capability statements.Maintain a library of project photography and marketing assets.Create client presentation materials and leave-behind collateral.Coordinate branded promotional merchandise when needed.Photography & Videography Travel to job sites to capture professional photos and videos.Organize and maintain digital photo libraries.Edit photos and videos for multiple marketing platforms.Capture drone footage when properly licensed (preferred).Website & Digital Content Maintain current website content.Coordinate updates to project pages, employee announcements, and news articles.Optimize content for search visibility and user engagement.Recommend website improvements and enhancements.Event & Community Support Coordinate marketing materials for career fairs, conferences, community events, and industry associations.Assist with sponsorships, community outreach, and company events.Support planning and promotion of employee appreciation activities.Analytics & Reporting Track marketing metrics including website traffic, social media engagement, recruiting campaign performance, and newsletter analytics.Provide monthly marketing reports with recommendations for improvement.Measure return on investment for marketing initiatives.Qualifications - Required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.Two to five years of professional marketing experience.Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.Qualifications - Preferred Experience in construction, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or related industries.Professional photography and videography experience.Drone Pilot Certification (FAA Part 107) or willingness to obtain.Experience supporting recruiting and employer branding initiatives.Physical Requirements Ability to travel to construction jobsites throughout the company's operating region.Ability to safely walk active construction sites while wearing required PPE.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of photography or marketing equipment.Occasional overnight travel for career fairs, conferences, or project visits.Pay: $56,755.53 - $68,350.74 per yearBenefits 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
