Job Title: Marketing Operations CoordinatorThe OpportunityThe Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in driving ticket sales, growing audiences, and bringing the Charleston Symphony's new and vibrant brand to life. This role blends together a range of responsibilities including campaign execution, audience data strategy, and marketing operations, contributing directly to more than $2M in annual ticket revenue. Working within an agile and collaborative team, this position offers hands‑on experience across all areas of marketing, from CRM and budgeting to partnerships and content, making it an ideal opportunity for someone eager to build a well‑rounded marketing career in a fast‑growing and service‑oriented organization.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMarketing Operations & Campaign ExecutionSupport and implement subscription and single‑ticket campaigns in alignment with revenue goals and marketing strategyCoordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and cross‑channel execution to ensure consistency and timelinessMaintain and track the marketing content calendar across all platformsSupport grassroots marketing initiatives and identify opportunities to grow group sales and community presenceCoordinate cross‑promotional partnerships to expand brand visibility and audience reachManage relationships with marketing vendors, including invoice processing and budget trackingMaintain updated marketing budget to ensure accurate tracking of campaign expensesProvide on‑site support for concerts and represent the CSO at community eventsAudience Data and CRM StrategyServe as a key resource for patron data, audience insights, and reporting needsGenerate and analyze ticketing reports to support data‑driven decision‑makingAssist in audience segmentation strategies to enhance campaign targeting and effectivenessMaintain and update patron records, email lists, and mailing databasesManage CRM tools and analytics platforms to support audience growth and retentionProvide ticket sales and patron support as neededCommunications and Content CoordinationCoordinate logistics for photo and video shoots, ensuring alignment with campaign and branding needsSupport media relations efforts, including press release development and outreach coordinationResearch and develop written content related to programming, artists, and organizational initiativesAssist in the execution of email marketing campaignsCollaborate on social media scheduling and content execution with the Marketing & Design ManagerSupport website updates and digital content publishingDeliver excellent customer service through patron communications across multiple channelsTeam Support and Cross‑Department CollaborationPartner with internal departments to support marketing needs across performances, education, and community engagement initiativesProvide administrative and operational support to the Director of Marketing as neededContribute to a collaborative, agile team environment focused on achieving organizational goalsTake on additional projects and responsibilities in support of the CSO's growth and evolving marketing strategyIdeal CandidateBachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Arts Management, or related field)Previous work experience in the performing arts or nonprofit sector is preferredExperience with CRMs (Tessitura, PatronManager, Spektrix, Salesforce, etc.) and/or database managementComfortable with data analysis and reportingExperience with website management is a plus (WordPress, CraftCMS)Extremely strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects at onceCurious, and a creative thinkerA flexible team player who can also work independentlyAvailability and enthusiasm to work evenings/weekends as neededA passion for the performing arts and an understanding of classical music is essential!Benefits: Health Insurance, 401k matching program, three weeks paid vacation, long term disability, paid holidays, flexible hours.Prior to being offered employment with the CSO, all potential employees are subject to the CSO's administrative hiring procedures, including but not limited to reference checks and background checks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
